Overview

The Open Innovation Center in Klosterøya Skien and the idea of a Global Open Innovation Alliance, is a project being developed by Telemark County Council, The Grenland Collaboration and Telemark University College. The work i organized through IKT Grenland, a membership based Software Cluster in Telemark Norway . The core development work for the center is being performed by Tor-Arne Bellika of Innovation Performance AS and Zak Greant of Foo Associates Inc.

The initial work on the initiative has been funded by the Telemark County Council, the Telemark University College, Innovation Norway, Vekst i Grenland and by IKT Grenland members. The current work is funded by IKT Grenland and member companies eZ Systems AS, as well as by Innovation Performance AS and Foo Associates.

The center will serve to build Norwegian competence in Open Innovation and on the Electronic Frontier. In keeping with the focus of the center, work on center is being done in an open and collaborative fashion. Meeting notes are openly published, as are draft plans, information on participants and so on. Visit the About page to learn more.
